Great park! Host were very friendly...gave us lots of information and invited us to come back. Seems to be in the middle of attractions in all directions. Close to Cherokee, Maggie Valley,Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and not too far to Gatlinburg.

Camped on the river. Will go back in summer for tubing. Super nice owners!!

This was our second visit here this month. A short drive for us. Only a few other campers here on this weekend.Loved the privacy on our site. A short drive to Chessnee,SC for shopping/food. Trains pass several miles away every few hours and Saturday nights have noise from nearby Harris Speedway. One of our favorites otherwise.

Made a drive thru here in late summer..... best overall campground of those in the Lake Lure / Chimney Rock area. Will stay here soon.

One of our favorite campgrounds....... kids and grandkids love this place...... only negative is the location being about 10 miles from town. First come..first serve on sites but I've NEVER had a problem getting a site.

If you are lucky enough to get one of the 30 or so spots up front, it is a great place to stay. Other spots on a winding downhill road leading to the back are still better than the spots in the back with the hundreds of permanent campers. Nice pool and friendly staff.... was told not to be in a hurry leaving on Sunday afternoon....stayed over for the pool.

Mostly permanent sites......not too impressed overall.........kids loved the river.....probably won't return because of the remote location .... we appeared to be the only visiting campers there other than those at permanent sites.

Lots of permanent sites.....all the pop-ups are put on a peninsula together down on the lake. Would be OK in the summer.
